Arturo Ripstein (December 13, 1943 -) is a Mexican film director.
Innate inside Mexico City, Ripstein got his break into moving-picture show working as an uncredited adjunct director for Luis Buñuel. Around 1965, he directed his foremost feature, "Tiempo De Morir".
